My father abandoned me at the age of 11. He told me that if I didn't go to this trip that he wouldn't speak to me again, and I refused (being stuck with his horrible girlfriend for a week would have been horrible), so it's been around 5 years now since we've spoken.
He refused to pay child support (love the law), and he just doesn't GET what he did to me. I was willing to have a relationship with him if only he went to therapy. But NOOOOOOOOOO he just has to abandon me instead, leaving me so numb and confused.
