Have you considered doing VOLUNTEER work in your community...someplace that interests you and where the need is great?
There are many, many places to VOLUNTEER in your community...a soup kitchen, working with children, in a local hospital, a nursing home, a local library...such opportunities are endless.
Never discount the value of UNPAID work as it can pay dividends later in your life. In fact, when employers look at a job application, they often will look first at the section of VOLUNTEER activities on a person's job application. Volunteer work speaks loudly in telling an employer what kind of person you really are...until they get to know you. Also, many times, volunteer work opens up doors for you to get paid for a job when a job opening presents itself.
In addition, volunteer work shows that you are stable, that you are responsible, dependable and can be on-time at the place you are "working" as a volunteer...and DVR will recognize VOLUNTEER work as legitimate, real life work.
Best of luck to you!
