Is there's any way to enjoy my life:

Without my almost-abusive family getting in the way.
Without all the forced schoolwork, social crap, and just the stupidness of my high school.
Without all my problems with the world.

Please, I'm desperate!

The trick is to learn how to make yourself as happy as you can in spite of the crap in life. It's not easy sometimes. Some people use hobbies, some do volunteer work, some join a school club (I was on the chess team), etc. You have to find what makes you happy and use it to cope with having to slog through stuff that makes you unhappy.

It's not about never being unhappy, it's about finding a way to get past unhappy periods and setting yourself up to enjoy the happy ones.

It's easier when there's an end in sight or something happy to look forward to. Unfortunately that becomes much harder once you become depressed because it's hard to find anything worth looking forward to. If you've reached this stage then all I can really say is that I feel your pain. I dropped out of high school and was almost hospitalized due to depression.

If you're not hopelessly depressed yet I would just try to hang in there and find ways to reward yourself. Don't withdraw from fun activities or stop doing work or you will slip into it big time as I did.

There are no deadlocks. Everything is going to be better, I believe. Some days ago it seemed to me that there was no reason to struggle - but I pulled myself together and made the only one step to turn my life upside down. At least, the deadlock has the way back  and, of course, you can break the wall which stands on your way. Don't be upset! Some time will pass and you'll find new life behind the broken wall beautiful.

Well, you live in NC. So you can try to pretend that you are in One Tree Hill. That could make your school days more fun!

One thing I did, this was long before we knew about AS, was to tell myself "OK, I'm odd, so no need to hide it." I acted as I thought fit. I was called all sort of names, and sometimes physically threatened, but I managed to enjoy myself (to a certain degree, anyway).
