Not that I mind writing papers, but I sometimes I just get stuck with incredibly boring and vague topics...

Like right now. I'm supposed to writing a short "reflection" paper about family. Yeah, that's it. Really f*****g vague topic. I could list out my family and make lists and characteristics... but that's probably not what I'm not suppose to do, since this is supposed to be a more thoughtful, emotive essay of some sort.

Really, I don't know what to write about.
Plus I just can't get myself interested in this topic.
Family with me, I can sum up as... My family is what it is, and my relatives I am estranged from. That's it. Not anything else can say about that.

It's just one of those blasted instances of having such a vague and uninteresting topic that I just can't write anything about it. Fuckballs. Great way to start out the class.

Actually writing reflections are somewhat easy for me since I have some experience with reflections.

Well I got like half a paper done. Really struggled with that so maybe that's the best I can do with it.
Well I just hope the next paper topics won't be so vague. I'll have to clarify with the instructor to get an idea what they are expecting from this sort of thing.

If it's not something you can relate to in real life, make something up. As long as it's not plagiarized or too outrageous (nothing that might get your parents arrested, for example), take a little poetic license. Hey, it's just school.
