So I'm getting divorced, I have no friends, and I have two small children to care for. I feel like I have to carry the whole world by myself. It's heavy.

I am also expected to carry quite a hefty load. I am a full-time student, with very little money, a schedule that keeps me from working even part-time, and a falling out with my family who is making me pay my tuition all on my own despite my lack of funds.

It's hard to be a single mom. Do you have any family support at all?

I was going to suggest moving closer to or in with family, but I checked out some of your prior posts, so now that seems like a bad idea. What if you found a housemate that did all the cleaning in exchange for rent?

You will definitely need some support. Caring for two children alone would be really hard. I'm sorry to hear it.

He is letting me keep the house, so I'd like to stay here. I think financially, I'll do alright, I have a pretty good job that pays well and my boss and coworkers like me. But money will be tight. I have the hardest time with meal planning and cooking. When I come home from work, I just want to eat something right away, I'm too tired to cook. I have to figure out a plan for making a bunch of meals on the weekend that I can just microwave for supper. Sometimes I just so don't want to bother with cooking, I'll just go hungry and let the kids eat less than healthy food. I wish I had friends. Someone to talk to.
