I hate seeing people together, having fun, telling jokes, playing, and overall having a good time. Does anybody else feel like this?

No. I like being alone and I have a partner. I don't need any friends. I don't mind being with family though.

I just do what I do everyday - put my emotions and feelings to the side, ignore them and get on with my life. I have goals to achieve

No, I'm not a Methodist.

Seriously, I have felt this way from time to time, and I consider it a sign of depression. But like others have stated, I just set aside my feelings and get on with doing what needs to be done.

As Yoda would say "search your feelings"...

There's more to this... what are you really feeling?

Jealousy, because you're not happy?

Annoyed, because it's too loud and irritating?

Moody, because you like things being "dark and gloomy"?

I don't hate seeing people together being happy but I'm interested as to why you feel this way. A bit more info might help other aspies here to relate better.

I get anxious when I am on the bus or train and a group of people are laughing or joking around.

Sometimes it's their laughter is irritating or it's a bit like a sensory overload type situation - too loud

and they remind me of when I went to school - some of my bullies were in groups like that.

How I cope with it is by listening to music and thinking they are just having fun.

happy people are not a problem; my job is actually to make people happy (and fix their computers...;)

it's when they want you to be happy that I start getting annoyed...;)

I might understand what it is to feel this way. It contrasts to your bad mood and so emphasizes it, and furthermore you are jealous of their fun?
That's how it can be for me anyway.

If you want to be one of these people having fun, try to be positive, it makes you more attractive socially.

In any case, don't dwell on resentment, it's useless and destructive.

It depends on my current mood.

I have been emotional this year due to circumstances. I go through episodes of crying every couple of days. I have been like that for months but as soon as I am over whatever upset about. I forget and am laughing again especially when I am with my girlfriend. We share the same sense of humour.
I get mood swings. I am learning to not make decisions especially not impulsive when I am feeling like its the end of the world and everything is ruined type feelings.
Most of the time I am happy and I love being happy :D

I hate seeing happy people when I'm feeling angry or sad. I hate seeing couples together 24/7. Yes I'm jealous.
