My grandfather is dying and it doenst register. im so emotionally damaged and disconted i dont notice. this awful, psychiatry stole from me being with it for my other grandparents funerals now its stolen my others. what in heavens name did i do to deserve this giant pile.

That explains it. I couldn't grieve my dogs death when I was in that situation.

I wasn't upset when my grandmother died or when my grandfather died.

when my great nan passed i felt numb but didn't really register it, when it came to leaving the wake i started crying and i couldn't stop.

some people say crying helps but it's just crying to me, if you want to grieve but can't try drinking some alcohol (being careful not to drink too much). it tends to bring emotions to the surface and might help you understand yourself better.
