Huh?

Was this supposed to be a post on another thread instead of a new thread? Cuz this is kinda cryptic if it's supposed to be a thread.

What was made clear by this TV sermon? What do you mean, "going down in recovery". Going down the path towards full recovery or going down in flames? Recovery from drugs or recovery from something else?

Epiphany (Greek for "to manifest" or "to show"),

Thanks, but I know what an epiphany is. St. Paul had one on the road to Damascus. I just don't understand the original post.

When I was 17 I was trying to figure stuff out philosophically, mathematically, scientifically and logically, trying to figure out the meaning of life, etc. Finally I just thought, "f**k it!" and then it came to me.

I wasn't addressing it to you in particular, KaliMa. I am trying to not be blunt about how the word is spelled. I am practicing tact.

how'm I doing?

sometimes i hear gods voice and i tell him to shutup
i dont want to ignore him but i cant make my mind up about him :?
maybe i have been to hard on him, and when he said, you must have faith as a child thats all. the bible can contradict itself all it wants and it doesnt have to rationally make sence because maybe god chose the way that doesnt make sence, to be the truth. to shame people who think they know it all

well, if you just treated others the way you would want to be treated and be a giver, then two out of three ain't bad.

When I determined what it was that made me so different all my life, I have been on a journey of discovery. Just before my official diagnosis of Asperger's, I did a music ministry at my home church interlaced with inspirational stories of hope---and I told my story which included a troubled birth (oxygen deprivation) and...I first made it public that I had autism. The service went beautifully. I felt very comfortable and inspired in doing it. Then, after my official diagnosis was made, things have been coming clear to me. I believe that God wants me to pursue this music/story ministry within my local region of Ohio. I have emailed over a hundred churches so far about my ministry, and several have emailed me back with interest in having me at their church.

So, since this thread kind of turned into an understanding of the religion we freely choose to believe in, I wanted to post my own personal enlightenment. For me to comfortably speak in church as I did is a tremendous first for me. True, I have taught school for some time, but to deliver personal stories including how I feel personally is a major step for me.
