easy. desensitize.

go to various news-sites, and look up the goryest s**t you can find. then, find something humorous about it, and crack jokes about it. practice makes expert. good luck!

I actually liked this, but that's only the result. And how can I constantly be exposed and find it every second?

What could be so funny about it?

But I am a sex addict, so I can't feel worthwhile. :(

Well, as a complete cynic, i have to inform you that like everything else, being bitter is not all it's cracked up to be.

Also, i have to guess that to be a sex addict, you actually have to have HAD sex at least once in the first place. So take heart, you're already seen more of life than i ever will.

Trust me, you don't WANT to end up bitter like i am. It sucks.

It can't suck as much as the way I am, so I am willing to take the chance.

But that is letting your emotions go out sideways.

pff, i know i was a bit abrupt in my advice there, but the bottom line is the same

i can fully understand the wish to _care less_ if OP's having trouble coping w too much emotions.
the lesson needed is: theres ALWAYS horrible s**t going on, constantly, constantly, constantly, constantly. right now, someone's getting their kidneys poked out w a glowing stick, simply for extraction of information.

people are entitled to be all emotional, and cry over petty things that concern them, but if OP has a genuine wish, and is sick of feeling everything, then that remains my advice: desensitize. stop caring. not entirely.

i still cry some to "extreme makeover, home edition" :'''I

wouldnt hurt to keep a throat-lump to crying war-victims either. i get a bit soft when i see those :(
