i've been thinking were to post my 2222st post but cannot decide whether to post it in my favorite 'post smthg bizarre'-thread, or in my loved 'threadkiller-gathering'-thread, or whether i should throw a party at the café, my second home, or whether to consider it an act of art...


so ...
in the end i decided to make a simple thread here,
open up the bottles and share the joy of the beautiful number 2222 ! with anyone who feels like having a party
(or not, i can handle the whisky alone too , hm or not )






(if i do not reply, that's because i'm admiring the beauty of the number )

I missed my 3333rd post a short while ago.... Right now I'm at 3444 as of this one....

A little something I posted on another forum and I dug it out of my "scrap-book":
Elevenses and Eleventy-One, as with most palindromic numbers, are very "Hobbit forming".
111^2=12321
111^3=1367631
1111^2=1234321
11111^2=123454321
111111^2=12345654321
1111111^2=1234567654321
11111111^2=123456787654321
111111111^2=12345678987654321
Here's a way to waste an afternoon:
Take a three digit number, reverse the digits and add them,
take the sum, reverse the digits and add, repeat this process
until you get a Palindromic Number, Examples:
195+591=786
786+687=1473
1473+3741=5214
5214+4125=9339
9339 is palindromic.
Let's try this with 197:
197+791=988
988+889=1877
1877+7781=9658
9658+8569=18227
18227+72281=90508
90508+80509=171017
171017+710171=881188
881188 is palindromic
Try this process for 196 and you will waste more than an afternoon,
196 does not form any palindromes at all.
There are many of these Lychrel Numbers that have vexed many of us number buffs. Enjoy!!

With my Syntesthesia I see '2' as white,probably because it looks like a swan.
So there are 4 beautiful white swans floating along on a serene lake
