Sometimes people project their own hatred of self onto others. It is a coping strategy (not a good one), taken by people who don't feel at all good about themselves. Going by the comments Strapples has received in this thread and the way I see people responding to him in other threads - I would say Strapples is a very popular and well liked guy.


thanks for your explananation Lucy I was wondering why people act like they hate me. But I try not to pay much attention to them... I know theres lots of people who love me

But... Why? Why do you project your hatred onto others? I don't understand, because whenever I hate myself I internalize it.

I think you need to be more than just an aspie not to pick up on that. Almost as hard as it would be not to notice
that you like straps :) As for me being nice, you are most kind to think so. *Huggs you so tight that there might be
organ damages and/or internal bleeding* (Tight hugs= good hug)

I have PDD-NOS and i am more on the mid functioning to low functioning to high functioning range. i am all over the place :bounce: :wall:

tight hugs are always the best kind of hugs :D

probably one of the reasons i like straps haha...

A Strapping Young Man topic

I have always appreciated Strapples. I generally enjoy the posts makde by young people here taht show insight, logic and knowledge.

He has numerous challenges that very few of us what choose.

I am surprises at how optimistic his viewpoints are. He has said very few unkind remarks; he is slow to anger, compared to some here, who have made ignorant comments about his interests.

Bashing idividuals, goups, religions, and ideas without careful logic and respect are disregarded by Sartresue (when directed at her, but this has only happened once here). I would hope that Strapples could adopt this stance so he can avoid responding to venomous bait.

NTs are experts at baiting/bullying. It seems as though some Aspies have learned this negative BS.

I'm going to be honest here. I don't like you one bit Strapples. You're the most annoying member on WP. Your avatar is stupid, as is your username. Perhaps if you liked something more normal like fantasy, I might like you. But because you don't like fantasy, I don't like you. And I'm not very accepting of people. I either like or hate someone. And I certainly don't like you.
