Another few memories from the nineties I am very fond of:
- my first football game
- my first World Cup I witnessed (1994 in the US, won by Brazil in the final against Italy)
- Milan-Rosenborg 1-2
- I picked up my groundhopping addiction
- I went to my first concerts

The 90's were great and all, but the only problem with it is all these kids that get all reminiscent about it, when it seems apparent that they were never old enough to experience the things they're reminiscing about.

i know right? i kinda resent the whole "hey remember this?" nostalgia train. it seems to me like a whole selfish baby boomer thing thinking their memories and experiences were so special, they don't let any subsequent generations have any memories or identity of their own.

a classmate of mine parodied it perfectly in one of her comics by having two people who're supposed to be living in the 80's do nothing but shout 80's buzz words back and forth at each other as dialogue.

- "St. Elmo's Fire!"
- "Shrinkie Dinks!"
- "Al Capone's Vault!"
- "Pac Man Fever!"

I'm talking about the kind of kid that goes on and on about all these shows that they claimed to have watched and enjoyed in the 90's, when they either were never even old enough to have seen said shows on TV when they originally came on, or just never cared about it before.

Oh, I see..... Well, I watched all the adult shows when I was little anyway, I didn't care. ;P The 90's cartoons and kids shows were the greatest though. The crap that comes on now for kids, I don't even understand. When I occasionally do flip on Cartoon Network pre adult swim, I see shows like Chowder and Flapjack, and I think "Who comes up with this stuff?"
