If so, how about a little backstory of what got you into it as well.

For myself, after getting my first job I finally had a true source of income but as ridiculous as it sounds I've came to realize that I didn't really have much of a use for money and it just sat in my bank account uselessly accumulating. So, I finally decided to do something with it. The market itself has always been a point of interest for me and I'm a huge fan of Jim Cramer's Mad Money (purely for entertainment, I'd never trust him on stock advice...) I decided to take the dive since I didn't really care for losing said cash and the risk/reward is just so high at such depressed prices.

Right now I'm playing around with financials (FNM, WM), alternative energy (SOLF), and the service sector (SIX). Luckily I've been able to make a bit from these leading me to the awkward situation of making money off money I didn't need. I decided to extract some of my return and donate to WP though! :)

I have all my money in a 1 year CD. I'm avoiding stocks right now because I think they are too volatile. When interest rates rise I may buy a bond fund. I am also considering copying the Mutual Fund Store's portfolio since I know a few people who use them and have done well.
