I don't drink alcohol very often, but I smoke weed on the regular. When I do drink though, I love drinking to the point where I'm f****d up.

I drink once and a while. I enjoy a wine or a beer in the evening with dinner once and a while. My weakness is Rum and Coke, as I have a tendency to have to much of it, so I try to stay away from it. I don't do it much though.

I drink- I usually drink Miller Lite because it's, well, light. However, I can be buzzed after 2 drinks, so I limit how much I can drink.

I find it strange how most aspies dont drink when it really does help u socialize. I love drinking, all my obsessive thinking goes away and I'm able to hold a conversation for hours...

True. Maybe not talk for hours, but a moderate buzz does make my annoying sanity go away for a while and the lunatics don't seem so bad. Maybe I should start up again. Then again, it costs money, so maybe not.

Nope. Occasionally, I have a bottle of Parrot Bay, but I don't drink it to the point of getting drunk. Never had much of a interest in it.

The two times that I got drunk, the hangover came immediately. Misery.

Alcoholism runs in my family, though. So I just avoid it anyway. I think it's caused a lot of pain and misery, across generations. I have no desire for it.

That, and it can't be good for someone on seizure meds.

I'm the complete opposite...when I'm drunk, my ability to "censor" myself goes away =/ So I end up blabbering the most annoying nonsense I can muster. I'm pretty sure the last time I was drunk, I had the longest Black Sabbath discussion of my life @_@

The touch sensitivities seem to go away, though...I can fall over and land in a terrible heap of myself, and be completely comfortable. It's strange.

Also a non-drinker. It seems highly risky, unnecessarily so, especially given how my parents and grandparents were/are all alcoholics. Besides, I had to give up control of my body to outside substances that served no functional purpose but to skew my personality to others' likings many a time before, and now I'd rather be free of that and be my unadulterated self. Lastly, I'd like to stay out of the hospital - liver disease does not sound fun.

That's why I never drink alcohol. Milk and fruit juice are perfect for me.

I have been a drinker before, but I've been able to quit.

I have drank a few times but I never got into it. Good thing, because a couple of years ago I found out that there is something wrong with my liver.

I very rarely drink now(3-4 times a year), and only on very rare occasions to excess (maybe once a year) And that only in a setting where I feel comfortable with people I trust.

There were earlier times in my life when I used alcohol as a social lubricant so that I could actually talk to people at a bar and go out and have "fun." But in hindsight it really wasn't all that fun.

Same thing with drugs. It was a really expensive way to forgot what happened for an entire night.

I've also developed into a control freak after being taken advantage of in various and sundry ways in inebriated states.

I suppose I had to learn the hard way, which is usually the only way I learn things.
