I do that too, and I get really tired of dental hygienists nagging me about it. Like I do it on purpose or something.

Tapping my teeth against a button on my shirt. ((It's NOT chewing! It's just making noise!))

Rubbing my fingers (side by side) against each other. I've never seen anybody do it quite like I do.
Also, scratching various parts of myself. Mum tells me I should stop or people will think things. I can't help it if I'm itchy! I'm pretty sure it is a side-effect of medication.

rubbing my tongue over a broken tooth and push up my left foot just enough too stretch my calf muscles.

When I use the desks on the upper floors of the library here, I like to tailor sit (Half lotus) with my knees up on the desk
and my chair tilted back on two legs! I can read for hours like that! :)

I have been told I rock. Back and forth. Now that I think of it, I feel the urge to do it. :?

Rocking back and forth, jiggling my left foot, clenching and unclenching my fists (and moving my arm back and forth and rubbing my thumb against the rest of my fingers as I do so), occasionally cracking my fingers when needed (my fingers sometimes hurt if I don't crack them), moving my lips in the form of words without saying anything, occasionally sighing or yawning or coughing...ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Yeah I'm a crazy one. I sometimes move my fingers like I'm typing or playing the piano, too, but not right now. I am typing, so I don't have to pretend  I like to sit in my closet and press my back to the wall, and then sleep in there. My mom usually knows to look for me in there, which is a little pathetic.

I made a ball out of rubber bands. All gum rubber #32 bands from a large bag I bought at an office supply store. The ball has about 300 rubber bands in it; it's just a little smaller around than a tennis ball.

Now I sort of twirl it around in my hand and squeeze it over and over, especially when I'm reading (I have to stop in order to type, obviously).

Also, tapping my foot, or kicking against the legs of my chair.

I'm going to go against the trend, but I'm going to post to say I am NOT stimming.

I actually don't stim very much, if at all. Apart from verbally, repeating certain words over and over (and sometimes actions from dialogues I've had which I repeat to myself).

I don't doubt the actions count as a self stimulating behaviour, but does the repitition of words? Is that stimming?

I just finished doing one stim which I can't talk about, now I'm itching. My most feared stim. I hate itching. Garr.

I'll play Animal Crossing to distract myself. Mmmmmm.... Animal Crossing.
