curios humor.

I found this curios humor in a support group.
lets see what some of you gather from it.
Quote:
MEN and WOMEN...
How come you see an awful lot of smart guys with dumb women,
but you hardly ever see a smart woman with a dumb guy?

ya, their too picky.
and its the smart ones that generally get board too quick with relationships.
Quote:
Men say that whoever dies with the most toys wins.
Women know that whoever dies with the most toys dies anyhow, and his wife wins.
Women know that whoever dies with the most toys dies anyhow, and his wife wins.
yes, I can see some of the ironic humor in this.
although as for my self I do not care to waist my time on big toys just to out do the friend or man next door.
Quote:
When a man talks dirty to a woman, it's sexual harassment.
When a woman talks dirty to a man, it's $3.99 a minute!
When a woman talks dirty to a man, it's $3.99 a minute!
yes, sadly this is a true fact.
Quote:
A woman wants one man to satisfy her every need...
A man wants every woman to satisfy his one need!
A man wants every woman to satisfy his one need!
so not true but I can see how women might think so.
Quote:
Women take clothing much more seriously than men.
You never see a man walk into a party and say "Oh, my God, I'm so embarrassed, get me out of here. There's another man wearing a black tuxedo!"
You never see a man walk into a party and say "Oh, my God, I'm so embarrassed, get me out of here. There's another man wearing a black tuxedo!"
Is this true?
I never care about what other men wear, but I never stopped to consider females would care much about what other females wear them selves.
Quote:
Men are self-confident because they grow up identifying with superheroes.
Women have bad self-images because they grow up identifying with Barbie.
Women have bad self-images because they grow up identifying with Barbie.
we do?
they do?
hmmm I guess I could see some of this in a round about way.
Quote:
When four or more men get together, they talk about sports.
When four or more women get together, they talk about men.
When four or more women get together, they talk about men.
I do not like sports and would not care to sit in and talk about them with other men.
and I do take it as a common fact that most women talk about men when they get to gather for their gossip sessions.
Quote:
Most women are introspective: "Am I in love? Am I emotionally and creatively fulfilled?"
Most men are extrospective: "Did my team win? How's my car?"
Most men are extrospective: "Did my team win? How's my car?"
I never thought of this but it seems probable.
Quote:
Women are looking for Mr. Right...
Men are looking for Ms. Right Now!
Men are looking for Ms. Right Now!
hmmm kinda ya.
but I also seen women who want things their way right now as well,
even though I know the above statement was meant in a sexist sort of way.
Quote:
Male menopause is a lot more fun than female menopause.
With female menopause you gain weight and get hot flashes.
Male menopause, you get to date young girls and drive sports cars.
With female menopause you gain weight and get hot flashes.
Male menopause, you get to date young girls and drive sports cars.
I do not see how this is true from the males perspective, yes I understand mid life crisis but when you take alimony and child support into account I can hardly see sports cars and the like coming into the big picture, nor that of wanting to contend with immature females who would only cause the older male more problems then their worth.
Quote:
And remember, to a woman, "a sense of humor" means you tell good jokes.
To a man, it means that you laugh at HIS!
To a man, it means that you laugh at HIS!
I have a hard time relating to this statement.

Where was it that I read that actually seeing all these buff and manly men (and their trophy girl friends) in media actually gives men a negative self image? I don't seem to recall...
