Pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening, pizza at supper time. Now that pizza's on a bagel...

This awful jingle is stuck on replay in my head thanks to the previous posts.

I wanna go to a rave, I have the urge to go to a rave. I've never been to one before, it looks fun.

I ate 5 chewable kid's vitamins (with fruit flavours).
I wish I could eat more of them, they're so good. But I'm scared I'll overdose on vitamins or something.

I love the glow sticks they have at raves (never been to one though). They look amazing when you put them in a bowl of water (in a dark room).

There's some girls outside, I think three... and they're being very lame.
Talking and singing loudly (it's 11pm and this is a quiet/peaceful neighbourhood), running around, ringing doorbells (ours too). I wish they'd stop. It's really getting on my nerves.

This reminded me of something I had forgotten about.

I had to go to a road safety presentation with my school once, and it was attended by all the schools in the area (although only by people of my year and the one below). Despite being a road safety presentation, it started as a rave before mutating into its advertised function (I heard its initially being a rave was intended to make people happy and so form a contrast with the gruesome and sad subject later).

I found the rave so traumatic - all that noise, all that light, and there must have been at least five-hundred people - that I felt quite overwhelmed and made an escape.

Now, because the road safety talk was a gruesome one, people had been fainting and so there were medics hanging around. When I was caught skulking about, I claimed I had fainted and I was believed. My skin is naturally very pale and I was a bit dizzy because of all the noise, and this caused the medics to believe I was in a very bad condition and so they put an oxygen mask upon my face and made me lie down and listen to their jokes for half an hour.

Anyway, that was my story of my first (but unfortunately not my only) encounter with a rave.

hey i got a question for you
Can you hear the drums Fernando?... I remember long ago another starry night like this
In the firelight Fernando, You were humming to yourself and softly strumming your guitar
I could hear the distant drums and sounds of bugle calls were coming from afar
There was something in the air that night. The stars were bright, Fernando
They were shining there for you and me...for liberty, Fernando

Next up is: Night all.

I'm off for now. My other random thought is that I'm insanely jealous of anyone who was born after me. I was born in 1981, I disparately wish that I was born in 1991, 2001, or even 2009. It seems like there's so much ahead of us and I'm basically already 30. I want to be younger and I don't want to die, damnit.

(Although, this is supposing I was born in the same area. I suppose United States, 1981 is better than Zimbabwe, 2009.) :(

Just another day filled with laundry, dishes in the kitchen and loads of work on the computer...
