Am I the only crazy one here? I'm pretty sure I'd be grabbing my processions left and right before I worried about myself. My laptop and iPod are my life.

I'd try and grab everything I owned. I have issues when it comes to losing any of my possesions, no matter how small or unimportant they are. I'd definitely try and save my mp3 player and my laptop first. I think my mum would have to physically restrain me to stop me from going back and trying to get all my possessions.

My cat (if someone else didn't grab her first), my two ratties, my purse to shove the ratties into, my iPod (I'd go insane without it), and probably a bunch of my books and/or DS games.
...And I would probably try to get and take all those things with me regardless of the risk to my life.

Let's just say I'd be making multiple trips. First I'd make sure my girlfriend was ok. I am very attached to my vintage stereo equipment. And my guns. And my computer. And all my good records and CDs. The guns would be good for guarding the other stuff, because in this neighborhood I'd imagine a pile of stereo gear out by the street wouldn't stay there very long.

Of course it would also be good to get the cars away from the house and put the stuff in there.

In real life though, where house fires don't wait for us to be ready, who knows.

I'd grab a bit of clothing and my laptop and get the heck out of there! I'd throw a blanket (no time to chuck a mattress) out the window too since it's rather high up, plus a blanket could also come in handy.
