I imagined what Sonic would have been named if he was dutch, for some reason, even though I'm not dutch myself. Zoonic De Hedgehoog (instead of Sonic the Hedgehog) sounds kind of like a dutch name to me, maybe it would have been even better with "Zoonik".

The name of my blog is also "Zoonic De Hedgehoog".

Imagine the name together with this song, in a german accent (which sounds a bit like the accents of some dutch people as well). Then you can understand the essence of Zoonik:

The Pakled are a race on Star Trek, who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed...;) Big eyebrows, receding hairlines, and use complex sentances like 'we are not smart', or 'make it go'.

From a site called 'you can't do that on Star Trek', from 'the Pakled award for smart people and technical things'.

btw - in Chinese, the character for 'trouble' is made with 3 characters; two women under one roof...;)

Auto-censors at it again, I see...

Yeah, censorship is a really mature way of dealing with things. The Chinese do it to.

This is stupid, I can't even use the actual word (which is not even a swear) in the content of an example? I can understand people being offended by being directly called a *tard, but is it so offensive that I can't even say that someone called me it?

Ardea is the genus given to the large members of the heron family. The Egyption Bennu bird which has many smilarities with the greek Phoenix is usually depicted as a Grey Heron. So my name basically means for the the Bennu, or the Phoenix to be reborn and rise in brilliance from the ashes of it's former self.

"Sfumato" ist Italian and means "smoky". It also means a painting technique in which you paint, basically said, without lines.

I selected it because I love the sound of the word and also the spelling, meaning and I do love painting so much.
