I have read somewhere that a lot of aspies collecting things , I think it would be cool to see other people's collections . Here is my collection of books by André Franquin (or talking about him). I am more interested in the character Gaston (a lazy and very creative individual who spends his time at the office trying to find ways to avoid work). I would like to eventually own all commercially available work by Franquin, since I have other collections (including Gaston collectables like watches, pins ect..) and some of the books cost 200$+ I am slowly moving towards my goal.

love the top picture of knitted monkies!

i am a book obsessive (amongst other obsessions and collections)....
here is one of my bookcases, this one filled with mainly 20s and 30s schoolgirl stories, some inherited from gran and great aunts; i have a couple of hundred more in a storage unit. note a.s dark coloured walls- navy in person, and a.s mess just visible on the floor.

i love the stories, the paper, the cover art,

and the illustrations...

my current obsession- old english/anglo saxon language- and some latin, welsh, greek and norse thrown in- the current pile around my bed.

i particually like the book on elf charms in anglo saxon christain services- really! and old english is the most beautiful sounding and looking language. im also slowly beginning to collect old dictionaries (cough-sad). which i enjoy reading. and i have four different editions of brewer's. which are all different, so its marginally less sad than it may appear.

i also am clearing out an old book collection- sci fi... bought for their covers, though many worthy in themselves.
