My favorite smells that I can think of right now would be:

Green peppers
Texas Toast
The smell of skunk spray when it sprays near the house and seeps in through the window
BBQ's
Pine shavings
orange juice
Burnt spices
Stetson country cologne
and natural tobacco smoke

The 'rain smell' isn't actually ozone, but rather various compounds produced by bacteria in the soil. Ozone is a pretty nasty, irritating toxic oxidising gas, which while I have yet to experience the aroma of it myself, it is reputed to be similar to that of chlorine gas. There are only very low levels present in the lower atmosphere, as it is highly reactive, and only produced in very high energy conditions, such as electrical discharges and automobile engines.

Anyway, my favourite smell is that of chloroform, a most truly heavenly aroma - in fact, it takes considerable self control when encountering chloroform to not continue to breathe it in. It's a real shame chloroform causes liver cancer, as it would make the most marvellous air-freshener otherwise.

Toast. The more burnt it is, the better.

And chocolate... Cadbury World is the best smelling place I have ever been in.

I also like the smell of freshly cut grass and the bread aisle in a supermarket :)

Agreed totally. I also like the following:

:star: The metallic smell in the air before a thunderstorm
:star: Morning dew
:star: Baked foods such as cakes, lasagne or potatoes. I like the smell of most cooked food really. But I can't stand the smell of Christmas pudding or peanut butter (or the taste for that matter), I think they are vile!
:star: Petrol
:star: Tar
:star: Permanent Markers
:star: The sea
:star: The countryside (barring the muck spreading obviously)
:star: Incense
:star: Coffee
:star: Spicy based and fruity based perfumes/colognes

Burnt Hogdon H380 rifle powder in freshly fired casings has always been pretty high on my list. For some reason the smell reminds me of a different time. Maybe it's from when I was a baby/toddler in the woods with my dad while he hunted, or maybe sometime shortly after. It definitely goes back for years.

The blackened tip of a burnt match.

Petrol fumes when I refil my car.

Crispy bacon.

Rain.

The first sniff of a bag of freshly opened coffee beans, ungrounded.

And I'll make a point of being the first person to admit they like the smell of their own farts, since no one else has the guts to do so!

Oh, so many nice smells,

Leather, coffee, freshly baked bread, freshly opened computer parts, marker pens, acetone. One of my all time favorites from childhood though, the smell of burnt nitromethane fuel, takes me back to my childhood when my parents used to take me to the speedway and the bikes used to run on the stuff. Very unique smell.

Many!

The smell of inside of a jet plane, the smell of grass/forest after a rainstorm, new car, bleach, pool (chlorine), weed, coffee/coffee shops, garlic, gas, morning dew, laundry fresh from the dryer, certain shower gels and colognes.
