That looks like lots of fun, I want to do something like that one day, might have to organize something like that with my car club (x-seriesfords.com) some day...
Yeah, would be fun in a falcon lol, better hope your XD has power steering though, be a lot of wheel twirling. I've got an AU out in the carport waiting for me to throw some money at it that was always good fun for doing skids in.
Have you looked at doing a course through DECA or someone like that?

Hahaha, yeah, my XD has power steering, getting the tail out on a skid pan day in a car as big as a falcon stationwagon would be a bit of a challenge without it, haha! My previous car (the blue XF) above I got the tail out (not hard to do, even if not trying here in rainy melbourne with a manual transmission and LSD), and that didn't have power steering, which made it nearly impossible to catch in time, so I was careful after that experience!
Wish I still had one of the 2 Escorts I had, they would have been perfect for a skid pan day.
AU hey? Forte? 6 cyl? A lot of people bag the AUs, but they're not a bad car, just the styling isn't to everyones taste. I get a bit of flack about my XD, but like I say to people, if the only real problem I experience with a 30 year old car is that the door handles occasionally need to be replaced, big deal, that's nothing compared to an engine rebuild or transmission swap, and my XD is still running it's original engine and transmission.
Yes, looked into doing a course like that ages ago, got put off by the price, but might look into it again now that I've got a little spare cash, good idea!
