Dude, you need a break.

And yes, every 500 posts is starting to become really annoying.

Web definitions for obsession:
compulsion: an irrational motive for performing trivial or repetitive actions, even against your will.

Obsessions are fine as long as you keep them to yourself and aren't involving a bunch of other people.

Also, it is obvious that you seek some sort of approval from the rest of us. I, for one, do not approve of this. The forum is for useful discussion, not an endless stream of useless one-liner posts for the purpose of increasing your post count. If that's what you want, go post on Slashdot or Digg or Something Awful or Snopes or Fark.

Guys, you ain't got to attack him. Just cheer him on no matter if it gets repetitive. As aspies, most of us seek attention one way or another because we tend to get ignored in the real world. Just cut him slack, you don't have to bully him. We're all in this together anyways. We need to work to make each others lives better, we need to be the helping hand not the bully. If we bully, we are no different them the ones who bullied us in school.

Congratulations.

I don't see why people need to get all bent out of shape over an announcement of post count. If you don't like a thread, scroll past it. It's very easy- if you can get out of bed and onto your computer, you can do it.

Congratulations Tim. Yes your next 500 will be a big one indeed. I have actually been watching your post count lately awaiting your 30,000th post.

As far as I am concerned, obsession or not, you aren't hurting anyone---so go for it. Keep on posting. When I go to the game section to relax, I find comfort in seeing you there---you are dedicated.

I see others are seeing what I do. I have nothing against this person. It's just that 500 is too frequent. I personally could understand if it was every 1,000 - I wouldn't mind as much.

It's basically to do with the 1,000 posts where you can change your status.

500 posts isn't frequent. for some people it is but for me, it can take me up to three months. Last time he did this was like 2 or 3 weeks ago. If thats how fast it normally takes him to make 500, who cares. It's not like every other day. And like someone else said, if you don't care, don't post in the first place. Let Tim Tex do what he wants, you don't have to be the police.

When you hit 30,000 posts Tim,
we will hold a big party for you
that is already being planned.
