Does your water come from a well on your property or from a municipal source, and have you tested it (or have you had it tested)?

Much money can be wasted in "treating" water unnecessarily, and I would never trust a treatment seller to do the testing!

If you're that worried, just get a basic water filter at the store, like Brita - some can go right onto the tap. They're way cheaper.

Pfft, but a brita filter won't protect my DNA from damage due to cancer, and this water has smaller molecules, meaning it's better absorbed, and so more watery than water.

That's waay better than taking out the bad taste of hard water and having clear tea. 8)
