Yes I know Tektek. It's good to be settled and maybe after May you will give it a go then. I so dread it now that I know what it's going to feel like to lose one of my babies but I will have to bear it because life would be meaningless without them. I know you can do it and maybe be a bit stronger next time. That's what I'm hoping for. Those future kitties will be a couple of the luckiest around. What a sweet thought that is!! :)

it is hard, and you are right - it is worth the effort because life is a bit empty without the expressive little faces greeting you and waking you up, talkative meows, nervous scampering, and cuddles.

thank you, Meadow :). your words are some of the most heart-warming things said to me in a long time.

I wish I had a pet, right now I've got none :(

Here's an old hamster we had. He died last year. My sister is holding him here while he has his carrot snack:

This is my goddaughter's kitten, she was only a few weeks old here :o

Tektek:
My sympathy to the loss of your twin cats too. This is something all of us petowners fear, that our dear friends will leave us. I would probably sink to the bottom of the ocean the day my cat dies....anyway thanks for sharing the photos, it looks like two wonderful personalities!

And its a great pleasure to see all the wonderful petphotos.

Eirun It never ever crossed my mind that you is spamming. I enjoyed every single photo of yours!

I have an idea for us focused on cats. Lets go to this thread called "The cat appreciation thread"

http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf26146-0-675.html

to me thats better, mostly because its in Members only section, meaning I can show more photos of cats, I have moved over my photos of cats there that I posted yesterday :D

that's a very cute hamster and kitten, Snazzlestick. i am sorry that the hamster is no longer with us :(.

thank you, DemonAbyss10, they are great photographs, especially the last.

Eirun, you capture a sense of movement (hehe) and depth of personality in your kitties, beautiful.

xalepax, thank you, and thanks for the tip-off regarding "the cat appreciation thread" :)

So few dogs! My dog's name is Einstein, named after the so-smart datadog on Cowboy Bebop. Naturally, our Ein is also a Welsh Corgi Pembroke, white and brown. He hasn't quite mastered the computer yet, but he can turn the TV on and off. This is him the day we brought him home. He was 8 weeks old. (His eyes aren't blue, they are amber; it's just the camera.)

Image

He's much bigger now, as he's 15 months. I don't know how to download the pictures of him as he is now from my phone, though. Still has the big beautiful eyes and the little spot between his ears. I say it marks where to kiss him!
