Autumn, when its slightly overcast and about 60 degrees. I also like the moment right before a storm breaks - extremely dark, an easing of pressure and humidity, and thunder and lightning, especially in spring or summer.

I loathe heat and mugginess.

I love Winter for the smell and the dismal scenery of dead trees and white snow.
I love Fall for the autumn colors.
Spring isn't so inspiring, and summer is too hot (at least where I am).

I'm not too crazy about the wind storms, but I do like it when I'm inside and it's raining outside...a good time to put on some instrumental jazz music or some Rachmaninoff and just lay in bed. *sigh*

My favorite weather is a warm partly cloudy day in the summertime---the type with the large puffy cumulus clouds. I don't like it to be too humid though---just nice and warm. I also like intermittent breezes. For me, this makes great camping weather.

I have a strong appreciation for all weather, however, I dont prefer extremes.

Early autumn weather, in New England. With cool, brisk breezes, the scent of pines, and the tang of the ocean. And glorious fall foliage.

That can be nice. I love it to hear rain on the roof of our camper---very cozy. Thunder scares our AS son to no end, so the thunder can stay away---although I like a good storm every once in awhile. My AS causes sensory issues with me, and thunder can hurt my ears too---but I still enjoy storms.

Love when rain just separates all sounds and goes on for ever, thunder can be mixed though, I'm sensitive as well to some high pitched smacking thunders that come down very sharply and it always makes my ears go bananas but there are some that are lovely and soft almost purring.

I wish it rained now...
