What do two people with Asperger's say to each other?

Nothing.

What do two people with not very good social skills say to each other?

'Hi,' and hour goes by, 'bye'.

I suppose it must be amusing, but I kind of don't get it. :? Then again, I just don't get jokes in general.

I don't really get this, either. We have a lot to say to each other.

Aspies have such bad social skills they wouldn't know what to say to each other or how to start a conversation.

The people with not very good social skills had no idea what to say or talk about. They could only say "hi" and then "bye" after an hour of not talking.

It's supposed to be a stereotype about AS and not very good social skills. You can be very talkative and still have bad social skills.

Jokes are fickle and I tend to be just a half a notch off on many punchlines.

I dunno - I have many Aspie tendencies but can talk with almost anyone and get on with about everyone. Just step up to the plate and GO FOR IT!

This is an insult to aspies, implying they can't say even one word.

I think you didn't feel any emotional response to it because it wasn't funny.

I agree. But it reminds me of a joke I once heard.

How do you tell an introverted Aspie from an extroverted Aspie?

The extroverted Aspie looks at your shoes while they are talking to you.

Does that even count as a joke? What's funny about it?

Those words in the OP are jokes only by the loosest possible definition of "joke." They contain no humor at all. No setup, no premise, no punchline.

That's true, I can't stand eye contact.
