cheese deserves a solo, with all the other flavors playing backup harmony.

Peanut butter and cheese, but I'm not in a rut or anything.

As soon as lent is over I'm gonna have a giant meatball sub smothered in marinara and mozzarella!

for some reason this all reminds me of when i went to work one day with a sandwich made of the previous night's left-over lasagna, i put it in the hospital [where i worked] fridge and didn't think of it until lunchtime, when i walked into the breakroom and found one of the nurses munching on my sandwich- i quickly opened the fridge only to see my lunch bucket empty, and i looked at the nurse who had a bit of lasagna sandwich hanging out of her mouth, and she had the temerity to say, "i don't know what you're talking about." so when you mentioned the delicious-sounding meatball sub, my stomach growled just like it did that night when i was bereft of my lasagna sandwich :(

Damn! I have never had that happen to me Aunt Blabby, but I have heard of similar situations from co-workers. That's messed up!

I'm gonna cheat, I had an apple and a cup and a half of ice cream yesterday. So I guess I'll call it an "apple ice cream sandwich".

The cream cheese and tomato toastie sounds delicious. And I love fried eggs, toast with lots of ketsup. But can you please tell me what is this "marmite"?
