Are you interested in something you still can't handle? For example chess, physics, or what ever.
I'm really bad at mathematics, but I still like it. I'd do almost anything to be better at it because I like it so much. :P

Hope you get the question.

My husband is in a band and I'm their sound girl. I don't have the best ear for it (doing the mixing for live performances - volumes, balance between 5 instruments and 3 voices, etc) - I feel pretty inadequete when someone else like my assistant sets things up, and the mix sounds way better than anything I could have come up with. I really love doing it though and I'm not too bad at it... no complaints from the audience - they say everything sounds fine, but *I* know it could be better. I'm getting better with practice though.

Drawing the human anatomy.
-I love to make up characters or draw fan art, but i'm absolutley TERRIBLE at getting the bodies to look even passable.

Reading about paranormal and the universe.
-Very interesting but I have a short attention span and end up doing something else >_< (this happens with just about eveything I like, no matter how much I like it)

I like making friends with people and hanging out with them.
-Self explainitory.

I'm really bad at Singning and Karioke, but I'm the first one at the Microphone, when my Clubhouse has Karioke Night. No matter what song I sing, if it was made popular by Non-London Artists, I make it sound like a Punk Song, by the forces of Nature.

I like to sing Karioke(sp?) too, but only in the privacy of my room. I'm not brave enough to sing in front of other people.

I can draw people, but unfortunately I can't draw anything else. :( I want to though. I also would like to be actually good at P.E. as I love it.

Using chopsticks.

Albeit I have entertained many dates this way. It's always good for a cheap laugh.

Singing. Nearly got arrested for treason the last time I sang the National Anthem. Most anything musical, really. Only thing I can play on the piano is John Cage's "Four Minutes, Thirty-Three Seconds"...

I have two...

+ Drawing. I can't draw to save my life. I don't understand perspective at all, I seriously cannot draw. I can - sometimes - draw your simple, smiley-face picture, but that's about the extent of my drawing skills.

+ Singing. I can play several musical instruments, but I sing atrociously. I can sing along when I'm playing, but my singing is badly off-key  I've had music lessons and I sat through numerous music exams where one of the requirements was to sing notes out loud. Apparently they didn't work

I'd love to be practical - to create or fix things - because that's something I love to see, and because I have loads of ideas in my head that I want to explore. Plus every employment test I've ever taken says that I'm a very practical person who values real, earthy things above image. It's true in theory but in practice I'm hopeless, and I don't have the attention span or opportunity to try and learn any of these skills for which I have no natural aptitude!

I'd love to paint or carve wood or play guitar or weld a car up but I'm cr-p at all of those things. So instead I have to do paperwork-based jobs which I'm good at, but hate.
