It is much nicer and cooler over here today.

I love a nice breeze.

Oh here too, its what I call perfect. :)

Lately a crane has been eating some of the fish in a neighbor's out door decorative pound

When I first moved back to Virginia, I lived in a big house on an inlet. I watched the egrets and sea galls every chance I could. When the tide went out, they would hunt crabs in the mud. It was wonderful to just sit and watch them. I always felt so peaceful and relaxed doing that. Fascinating Creatures.

That sound very relaxing to watch.

Kentucky wasn't really one of the first places I'd think cranes would live in.

We have the whooping cranes here, but they are endangered (but there are more of them now).

Dry heat beats humid every time. I was in Miami in April 2002 at 85 F and it was soooooooo uncomfortable but in August 2002 we were in Las Vegas 108 F at mid-night and god only knows what the daytime temp was but it is so desicating it really is quite comfortable.
Cape Town S.A. seems to get the mix just about right in my humble opinion.

When I lived in California at Vandenberg AFB there were a lot of Blue Herons. My (then) husband and I were watching one on our lunch break as we were driving around base. We stopped the car briefly because one was digging about very close to the road and we were curious. We watched saying "ooooo, ahhhh" sort of things, fascinated, then it drags a struggling gopher out of a hole in the ground and swallows it whole. :eew:

We skipped lunch.

 OMGS That sounds DISGUSTING! :lmao: Ha Ha! :jocolor:

I know it's a cliche but wet or dry? I'm really curious. I know Australia is hot. My mother was in Perth once and she told me something like 110 in the shade.

I have a question, but don't you guys measure the heat in the shade too? For you guys from arizona, here's a fun fact about Marble Bar, the hottest place in australia: The town registers temperatures over 37.8°C (100°F) on 154 days each year.
