There was a short period of time, that I tried to become obsessed with nightmares, in order to dampen my Routemaster obsession, as 2006 was becoming 2007.

There was also this time, when I was 9, when I was obsessed with being thin, and skinny was my favourite word. Whenever teachers, psychologists or relatives asked me, what I wanted to be, when I grew up, I told them that I wanted to be skinny. I wasn't skinny than, and I'm not skinny now. The only difference is that now, I don't care that I'm not thin. It's not a healthy way to think, and I do eat healthy and exercise. Being skinny isn't my biggest aspiration in life, anymore and I thank God, for that. There are better aspirations, such as being nice and helping and loving people.

Spending three days long to elaborate a wicked (and hopeless) plan in order to have sex with a classmate.
(one week ago  )

The life and comics of the infamous creator of Sonichu, Christian Weston Chandler. I learned as much about him and his creations as I possibly could. I was extremely interested in the way his mind worked; how he was able to piece together an entire universe to call his own just by throwing together elements from various cartoons and video games. Nevertheless, I was extremely embarrassed about having an obsession centered around some weird guy from the internet, so I tried my hardest to keep it a secret.

Thankfully, that was just an "in between" obsession, during the period of time when I had stopped enjoying Hellsing, but hadn't discovered Johnny Depp yet. Once I started obsessing over Depp, my obsession with Chandler disappeared pretty quickly.

The composer and once-singer, Danny Elfman.
I was so obsessed I convinced myself I was in love with him. Spent hours researching him, and collecting photos. I found a fellow fan and we sent an average of 10 essay-long emails about him to each other daily.
I'd only listen to his music. And I'd cry about him and stuff, and how I couldn't be young when he was. And I collected over 700 photos of him. I still have them because I don't want to throw all that work away. :P
It maybe lasted a year?
Definitely unhealthy. but hey, now I think red heads are hot. :P

Another taboo obsession that I had, was the penis, when I was 7. One that's not worth remembering. I got into a lot of trouble, over that one.

Highlander TV show.

I still have the trenchcoat and the sword.

Gawd that show was sooooo badly produced and the acting and the writing were terrible.

I was like 20 and I didn't know about AS back then.

I used to be pretty into Orlando Bloom, this was when I was like 12. It wasn't bad enough to affect me negatively, but it was a pretty intense interest looking back..I was on a forum for his fans, collected pics of him, had posters of him..the weirdest thing was I wouldn't watch movies that featured his then-girlfriend  It's funny that I don't even find him too attractive now, and haven't seen one of his movies in a long time

being fat or fat people. But I had/have a preference on that....

I still fantasize about it.

I lost a couple friends because of this recently, I stupidly shared it...

I like Danny Elfman too. I enjoy his music; I think the songs he did for Edward Scissorhands were gorgeous.

Your past obsession with Orlando Bloom sounds a lot like my current Johnny Depp obsession. I've been trying to find an active forum for his fans, I collect pics and posters of him, and I don't like anything having to do with his girlfriend. I know I'll outgrow this eventually; my obsessions typically last from 6 months to 3 years.

The Romanov execution. It got so bad that when someone asked me why I had killed Santa Claus I corrected them, stating I killed the czar.
