Christine and Lea Papin, two French maids who murdered their employer's wife and daughter in the 1930s. They were highly suspected of having an incestuous lesbian relationship. Their relationship and the murders have been adapted into numerous films, books and plays, including Sister My Sister, which is one of my personal favorite films.
