Dreaming of toilets and bathrooms may suggest your desire/need to cleanse (rid the waste/crap) yourself emotionally of negative sexual attitudes or those of others.

thank you for your input. i appreciate people who put me in the "smart" category, as that is a very rare happening on the right planet. i can use all the wisdom i can get. i have a long history of recurring lavatory dreams, usually on the order of being locked inside one where all the toilets are flooding sewage that i am drowning in, or i am locked in one where there are legions of nasty insects trying to eat me alive. maybe it all is trying to teach me to get beyond "better pissed-off than pissed-on. but that is a tough lesson and a long row to hoe.

i dreamed yesterday afternoon that i was driving an old vintage car (like the one one the beverly hillbillies) and i was so tired i was almost asleep (in the dream). i thought " i must shake my head and wake up or i will have an accident" (i never feel that tired when i am awake in real life)).

nevertheless, i was kind of dozing with one eye open and my head resting on the sill of the door and i was dimly negotiating the bends. i needed to break slightly to stop at some lights, and one rear wheel locked up and the car started to swerve a bit sideways, so i took my foot off the brake and thankfully the car straightened up, and the lights went green.

after i turned right into another road, i needed to slow up again as a car in front of me was going to turn right, and it was a one lane road. this time, one of the front wheels locked and the whole car somersaulted end over end continuously. it seemed to magically land on one of it's tires each time it somersaulted (remember old cars like that have protruding wheels and this one had no mudguards). after about 4 somersaults, the boot (trunk) flung open and some old moldy smelling grandmother type underwear was thrown out of the boot and over the car in an arc and landed on the road in front of me, and the car was in a position where it was facing bonnet down with the rear wheels high in the air, and i tapped the brake again, and it somersaulted even faster.

then i got the impression that i was totally safe because the tires would always hit the ground first, and i accelerated and the back came down (i know it did not follow logic because the rear wheels were in the air with no grip) and hit the road so hard that it bounced bounced back up and i was again flipping end over end.

it started to feel like the car was actually doing a kind of break dance which i could control with the brake and accelerator, so i started having fun making the car flip and somersault, and then i turned the steering wheel and it started to cartwheel. before long i was having a ball and then i woke up because i did feel a suppressed sense of danger because i realized i could not bring the car back to an equilibrium.

the weirdest dream that I ever had was:

I was babysitting and just as the parents left, the dad said "dont go down in the basement" Well I was playing with the baby and it was so cute, a 4 month old baby learning to crawl. Well then I could not help myself, curosity got the best of me. I went down in the basement. As soon as I did, the whole house transformed into a haunted house...with grey castle walls with slime on them.
I ran up stairs, and the baby had red eyes and fangs and was chasing me all over the house. I went back down in the basement and there were warewolves leaping towards me from a pit. My dog Annie appeared out of nowhere and saved me.
Just then the parrents came home, only they looked like the parrents of the adams family. The dad said, I told you not to go down in the basement

I was in a daze for about 2 days after day...totally spooked because the dream seemed so real

It's got to be one in which I was a kid waiting, along with other children, for my turn to be asked some sort of theological question, to be tortured on a vertical version of the rack if I didn't give the desired answer, with someone whispering to me that nobody could actually endure it, the only question was whether you'd say what they wanted to hear before you were left permanently crippled or not, etc.

yet another "2nd part" dream due to the fact that my memory seems good enough only to remember the second parts of dreams.
anyways, i dreamt that i returned to the same odd 70s-era toystore/childrens' entertainment emporium that i visited briefly in the first half of this dream [that is all i remember of the first part]. the place looked a bit run-down and there weren't too many people in there and, strangely enough, very few children. there were several staircases [no visible escalators or elevators] which all led to a skeletal 2nd story toy storage area that also had leftover clothes racks, spare store furniture, leftover beds and bedframes, et al. behind one full-sized bed there was a false wall, as it appeared to me in the dream. something [i don't know what- i must've just had "a wild hare up my wazoo or something] made me get on that bed, whereupon i went "WHOOSH!! !" through the false wall, bed and all, and then i found myself on a roller-coaster-like track only it was like a waterslide with the bed gone and the top missing, so i could see all around me and i could look down at the first floor of the store with the shoppers browsing among the aisles and racks of merchandise. the "ride" was slower than a real-life waterslide but it was twisting and turning, and i was having the time of my life with a goofy smile on my face, and i was shouting "YIPPEE!!" when an adolescent child looked up at me with an expression of mild embarrassed disgust, as this old fart was laughing and having fun on the waterslide. the ride finally came to a stop at the cashier's station, where i ran over a type of code scanner glass like in a real-life store. i don't know if i paid or somebody paid for me. my clothes were soaked so they made me disrobe, and strangely my clothes just vanished before i found myself in a gray robe and light green blanket- my real-life robe that i wear all the time, is gray- and the color of my real-life baby blanket which i treasure, is light green/blue.
anyways, the cashier made me take a spray bottle of disinfectant and spray a portion of the scanning apparatus, then she gave me a spray bottle of "conditioner" that i also had to spray the apparatus with also. then she and the other cashiers gathered in the manager's cubicle and had a discussion about something relating to the disinfection. on the walls of the cubicle i noticed several advertising posters for music lessons and some school test results, graded multiple-choice tests on 3-by-5 cards, relating to pitch perception. what was odd about these was that the lower the score the better grade the student got. then i just walked about for a little while dragging my blanket behind me like linus on the charlie brown tv specials. then i was led to a darkened, small green-curtained partition behind a stage of sorts, where i was told to change back into my regular clothes which were dried for me. then they closed the curtains and suddenly the lights turned on and i was in some kind of office where there was a long desk with work stations divided by panels. at "my" workstation i found myself at a desk with a bunch of electronic cables and miscellaneous gizmos i knew not what they were exactly. another person watched me sort this stuff and put some in a bag and the rest into my pockets. he told me he used similar stuff from time to time. i told him i carried this stuff around because one never knew when one would need the right cable to hook up an audio component. another person to his right, who looked menacingly middle-eastern, just glared at me like he was disgusted at me, but then the other fellow left and the middle-eastern person started smiling at me and told me that he was straight but just loved being ogled naked by other men. then i awoke from this most interesting dream.

I dreamed I was piloting one of those small railway cars that move by manual cranking (I don't know what you call them) along the great wall of china.

I had a dream that my parents and I were planting bamboo in our backyard at the house I grew up in. My mom and I started fighting over nothing and it escalated into us screaming at each other. My brother came home from school and asked mom why she seemed upset and I told him we had been in an argument. It was strange because my mom and I never get into arguments, let alone scream at each other.

What a dream AuntBlabby! At least you were able to have fun on the strange roller coaster tracks/water slide, eh. :D
-------------------------------------------------------------
Those 2nd part dreams must be common. Seems like I dream in two parts too and usually only remember the 2nd part. :nerdy:
-------------------------------------------------------------
It's interesting how when we dream we incorporate things which are familiar to us with things that are totally foreign and in the strangest ways. :chin:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Do you have any idea what your dream might mean? :?: I'm curious, this dream interpretation is fascinating.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After I finish up on some other things I am doing at the moment, I want to begin studying synchronicity, archetypal symbolism and dream interpretation. I actually have a book about psychoanalyst, Carl Jung's views on synchronicity and archetypal symbolism, which I haven't read yet. :study:

Well, not talking. Listening.

I had an odd one lastnight. I dreamed the the United States allowed the extradition of all those U.S. citizens wanted around the world on various charges. It included the executives of Union Carbide who were extradited to India to atone for the Bophal chemical factory explosion, The U.S. airman who murdered a man in my town, fled to his base, told all to his commanding officer and was on a plane back to the U.S. within 2 hours, never to face justice, the crews of the A10 tank busters which killed the 16 British servicemen in Kuait during the 100 hours war (100% of casualties due to friendly fire)

Sounds like you had a very lucid dream. I read in a magazine or paper awhile back about a similar case to one of those incidences you dreamed about.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I'm trying to remember exactly what I read, so I do not have all the facts or all of the information concerning this case. -------------------------------------------------------------
Tragically, there was a young German woman who was raped and murdered by either an American service member stationed in Germany or a former American service member who returned to the same area of Germany where he had been stationed. He then returned to the United States before the German officials were able to prove he was infact the person who murdered this poor woman. I believe eventually they had DNA evidence or some other certain evidence that connected this man to these horrible crimes.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The German officials were trying to get the United States to extradite this murderer to them to face justice too.
------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know if the United States ever sent him to Germany to go on trial and to be sentenced to a German prison. Maybe someone else knows the complete story.
-------------------------------------------------------------
After reading the article, I remember thinking to myself, surely The United States is not going to allow this monster who violently raped and murdered this beautiful young woman, to go free and escape justice for his crimes.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry to go off topic. It reminded me of that article which left a lasting impression on me.

I can't tell you much about my last odd dream, but I do know it had zombies in it. I dream about zombies a lot.

Zombies rock.
