Most of you by now know I use a Hugh Laurie as House avatar most of the time. Some may not realize the avatar I have up as I'm posting this is Hugh Laurie as well. Just for kicks, and for those of you who are Hugh Laurie fanatics, here's a few choice moments in his career. The last one is hilarious.

He's both a great actor and comedian. I like all of the shows, that he's acted in, and he's made a good career, for himself. I also enjoy British comedy.

My mom is a big fan of Hugh Laurie. I think he's a good actor, though I'm not too interested in him because he is irrelevant to my primary interests.

A lot of American viewers would be amazed to discover that Hugh Laurie is British! He does such a good American accent that I have surprised several people when I revealed this fact. His character in "Jeeves and Wooster" is so different than in "House." If you do a search on YouTube, you will find some clips from a skit comedy show he did with Steven Fry (who co-starred in "Jeeves and Wooster.") They also did a few skits with Rowan Atkinson.

I was actually really surprised to come across a comedic thriller novel he wrote called The Gunseller, I picked it up for a quarter at a library sale on sheer curiosity. It's not bad and has a few really funny parts, though I think his acting is much better than his writing all in all.

Big fan of 'a bit of Fry and Laurie' here. The absolute absurd and hilarious stuff they came up with. Brilliant.
