I would like to do that shuffle thing, but i am using VLC media player, and it doesnt seem to save my songs in a big lump like the Windows one or Itunes does... I have to pick a new set of songs every day, from the hard drive.

The most recently played music was: Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Blondie, Mixed 80s songs, Enya, Enrique Iglesias... I have a whole load of music, including a folder of heavy metal passed on from a friend, I dont think im into real thrash metal though... :?

I know... this is mainly for those with iPods and mp3's or... Creative Zen's!!

I would like it if a pc could function on random off the hard disk, that would be amazing because I have around 90gb of music there like only 16gb on my mp3 player...

Is there a reason you're using it? I don't think VLC is very useful for music.

Its a nice idea and I decided to do it because mine would undoubtedly be so strange.

Bach, Johann Sebastian -- BWV1080 - Contrapunctus XIV
Sibelius, Jean -- Symphony No. 5, Op.82 - 1. Tempo Molto Moderato
Control Point Podcast Episode 3
Bach, Johann Sebastian -- BWV627
Wagner, Richard -- Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg, Act I
Gibbons, Orlando -- Fantasia No. 3
Bach, Johann Sebastian -- BWV828 - 3. Courante
Bach, Johann Sebastian -- BWV1080 - Contrapunctus XIV --- Couldn't believe it when this showed up again, as I have only two recordings of it.. this one is better
Mahler, Gustav -- Symphony No. 8 - Blicket Auf Zum Retterblick
Schoenberg, Arnold -- Drei Klavierstücke, Op.11 - 1. Mässig

I like them all, however obviously the one that is not music takes the position of least favourite.

I dont know. It is my boyfriends computer. The program is popular with IT people. He uses it to watch movies.

He probably doesnt want an extra media player for music as he doesnt like unnecessary software on the computer.

ALTERED IMAGES "See Those Eyes"
FALL OUT BOY "Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy (Accoustic)"

I'm procrastinating this morning, and this thread is perfect for it.

1. The Danse Society - Somewhere
2. Prem Joshua - Flight of the Swan
3. Sun Ra - Saturn
4. Slum Village - Tell Me
5. Nicolette - We Never Know
6. Happy End - Kaze Wo Atsumete
7. Holy Ghost! - Hold On
8. The Nice - Flower King of Flies
9. Masada String Trio - Sippur
10. Neil Young - Harvest Moon

Oh. I need to comment on yours, Squonk? I don't know, but I do like your pick from that list, I'm quite the Joy Division fan.
