I like the battle star Galactica. It is functional. Holodecks are for wusses and Sybarites. And a control room in which the captain sits with his legs crossed during a fire fight is really beyond the pale. ruveyn

No, I want ULTIMATE power. Like "Skylark" by Doc. Smith.

The ship was the size of our moon and controlled by a headset.

It was so powerful that it could destroy entire planets or entire galaxies.

If you are going to dream then you might as well dream big!

They are the best pictures I could find.

Well, I love the look of Romulan and Klingon ships, but it probably wouldn't be that much fun to live in them.

The Enterprise D has replicators and the holodeck, which is awesome. Plus TNG was my first scifi love and how I became a geek, so it has nostalgia that makes it cooler than any other ship in Starfleet. (But I couldn't actually be a member of Starfleet. I need my individuality and freedom).

I love Moya, so that is a tempting choice.

But if I had to pick one starship, it would be the Tardis.

I think the RV spaceship from SpaceBalls would be awesome. I'd only have one crew-mate/copilot & I can kind of do my own thing. Plus I have a dorky sense of humor

Well as much as I love star trek... I'm gonna have to go with an Imperial Star Destroyer or a Super Star Destroyer (Dare I be so pretentious?) from star wars. There shields are some of the strongest ever made and are 6x stronger than what should be standard for there size (and there some of the largest capital ships at there time.) They have a small sun for a reactor core so there power supply is also many many times larger than what would be standard for there size. They have more Ion cannons and turbolazers than a military space station. And has numerous fighter and bomber wings in the hanger, not to mention a full invasion force including 5 AT-AT walkers, a legion of stormtroopers, 50 AT-ST's, and 500 dark troopers. Oh and there about 3 miles long. And i'm not even going to attempt to pull up the stats on an SSD.

Cheater, suddenly Son'A ships appear and fire isolitic subspace weapons at your star destroyers for choosing such an obviously overpowered ship.

Well if it was overpowered then how did the rebellion manage to beat them? Why a flaw in there design of course. Just like the death star star destroyers had a glaring weak spot because the engineers who designed them were too confident that there capabilities alone would be a deterrent. There shield generators were clearly visible and exposed on the top of the bridge (the two orbs) and on the bottom (the large dome) a shield penetrating small weapon (such as a proton torpedo) fired by a small ship able to slip through it's far-too-large deflector screens could easily take out the shields. Then it's only a matter of destroying the huge wide open exposed command bridge. It's how they took out the Executor SSD in the movies. A classic example of what the lion cannot manage to do the fox can.
