About three days ago. It was a meltdown that was one week in the making. I had to prepare my home for termite treatment, which involved packing and removing many things from the house and totally disrupting my life. Today I have to put everything back. :x :(

Tonight, while watching Edward Scissorhands. It usually doesn't make me cry, but it did this time.

I was crying over the death of Pete Quaife once again yesterday for the first time in 30 days. I'll get over it when I'm ready, not when somebody tells me to get over it.

I used to cry all the time up until I started going to high school, and then it just suddenly stopped. I can only distinctly remember crying four times since I graduated in the early '80s.

1988 - Twice on the same day, when my daughter was born. Once when I was told her mother was getting a C-section and the doctor was giving us the normal 'unlikely but not impossible' complications speech (scared/helpless cry), and then again right after she was born (the happy/OMG/miracle-of-birth cry).

1998(ish) - Watching the movie 'Schindler's List', at the end where the camera was showing the headstones of all the people who were victims of the Holocaust (total sadness and heartbreak cry).

2011 - Just a couple weeks ago. I completely lost it when watching this wedding entrance video. 8O I was totally caught off-guard by my emotional reaction, it literally hit me out of the blue. I have no idea who these people were, the link was sent to me by a friend. I was just so incredibly moved by the willingness and dedication of this couple's friends and family to do what they did to make their day memorable, all the practice that I'm sure they did beforehand, and of course the amazing overall execution.

The night before last. I woke with swollen eyes and feelings of utter despair. I am better today, however! :)
