Yes. There's a huge difference between purebred and inbred.

That is not always true. The closed registries that kennel clubs maintain mean that the gene pool for many breeds is ridiculously small.

In that case purebred can only be inbred. :(

While this can be true, I don't include kennel clubs - and specifically The Kennel Club UK - under the heading "responsible breeder".

Labs and golden retrievers. Chihuahuas but only to an extent...not the ones that are TOO jumpy.

I've only been around dogs of families. I wish I had one :(. I have a cat though and I want to find a nice young dog from a shelter whose not a pit bull.

I would really like to own a West Highland Terrier or a Scottish Terrier one day. They are so CUTE!

I like Akita Inu too but they are so BIG!

I like Bernese mountain dogs and Newfoundlands. :) I think I would love to have a big dog some day.

I love those dogs too. I really, really want to get a Pyrenean Mountain Dog soon. I wanted a Newfoundland, but wasn't too keen on their lifespan. :( Pyrs tend to be a bit better, especially for big dogs. They usually live 10-12 where Newfs only live 8-10. Bernese are worse because they're really prone to cancer. I was talking to a Bernese owner one day who said for a Bernese owner every day after 6 years is a blessing. They're really lovely dogs though.

I've never met a Westie that I didn't like. They're so funny and really handsome as well. I usually am not too keen on the smaller breeds, but Westies are loads of fun.

I like English Bull Terriers a lot. Dobermans are smart and beautiful as well (especially when they have natural ears and tails).

I dislike dogs and even scared of most (slight phobia from when I was a child and a dog nearly shewed my eyeball out) but there are two dogs I like when it comes to looks, they are quite similar. And they look very stable,... if that makes any sense.
