So, Thursday evening the weatherdude starts mentioning snow for the higher elevations, with a maybe for the lower-lying areas.
Thu. night... snows for about 15 minutes at 0130 then turned back to rain.
Friday night, more of the same advisories, still no snow, just lots and lots of rain.
Saturday... snowed for 15 minutes around 1500, then more rain. Environment Canada has a warning for a potential dump of 20-30cm of snow. Saturday night, cold enough for snow, rain goes away, now it's just really cold and clear. Still no snow. Not even at 3am. Vancouver has snow, I find out. Very irritated at the lack of snow. Go to bed, hoping irritation will force Snow's hand.
Sunday morning, 0905, wife comes in and wakes me up. Snowing! Yay! Am elated (dur), me being angry at snow worked!. Snowing like all get-out, in fact. Not even snowflakes, more like snowpackets. Visibility is about ...mmm... nothing. Currently 1400 and we have about 7-10cm accumulated.
Go snow!

I was given a bunch of snow as a punishment for having a crappy December, last year.

I miss the snow, since moving to Florida. Back in Pennsylvania, we used to get some beautiful snowstorms!

I Love snow!! ! It's not only pretty, but it's like it turns the volume down in the world by a few notches.

It doesn't snow here in Wellington. Being a harbour city, all the salt in the air from the sea cancels out the snow. I want to touch real snow, as I never have done in my life.

Fine, I'll scrape some off my boots, put it in a box, and ship it to you.

Ah, you poor, deluded fools. I used to be just like you.

I like snow, I admit, it got under my skin somehow even when I was trying not to like it. I went to school for 1 semester in the south, and when I returned to the north for winter break, and was met by a massive snowstorm, I wanted to get down on the ground and kiss it.

Snow doesn't fall where I live. After Christmas, we'll be vacationing in Colorado, where I'll fall down into the snow repeatedly on a set of skis.
