Adelaide, South Australia. The colourful windows are actually a disability service elevator.

I had a morning visitor come help himself to the bird seed as usual. Put on an acrobatic display for me.

An old lighthouse overlooking a local beach. Summer is so close, I can taste it...

It feels like where on a different planet with how the seasons are completely out of sync with each other! Which doesn't make sense as where I am is roughly on the same latitude as most of southern canada and the US border with canada

Apparently we have this early spring due to an early change in current in the pacific ocean that affects the Gulf Stream which is what determines if we have hot weather or not...roughly. I'm no substitute for a meteorologist

Our weather is always warmer than Canada's because of the gulf stream ocean currents.

One of the global warming theories is that the gulf stream will fail due to increased fresh water entering the ocean, and if that happens the UK's climate will become more like Canada's. Although I did read an article that suggests that the gulf stream warming theory is actually not true, and its more to do with the winds that start in the Rocky Mountains. Suggesting that noone really knows what they are talking about.

Either way, its too damned hot here already.

Yeah, I got sun burned last april, i've been sun burned this april. I like those wet and miserable summers I can actually function and go out the house without wearing sun factor 50,000 suncream

The lack of ozone layer around this time of year sucks too. Around may I expect it to kinda warm up, but this month it's usually rainning all the time at random intervals. We are so going to die of dehydration in the south east this year if it doesn't start raining
