Ok, so in this thread you state a group of people that society shuns or have negative stereotypes of, and you feel bad about it. You may add a brief explanation afterwards.

So let me start...

I feel bad for pedophiles. There are obvious reasons why an adult pursuing a child in a sexual way is wrong, however, come to think of it, imagine what it feels like if you felt the type of attraction towards children the way you feel towards the opposite sex if you're a hetero or the way you feel towards the same sex if you're homo. If you ever "slip up" and act out, people won't even talk to you and you're stuck in jail. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be in jail, I just feel bad for them. And even if you've never acted out, if you "come out of the closet" to people, many of them would probably not want to talk to you. People also make jokes about pedophiles. I don't even understand why they make jokes about it. There's nothing to laugh at, either at the victim or the pedophile.

I feel bad for....people who murder out of insanity because we will never be inside of their head and we will never know how much freedom from their mind versus how many limits were placed in their mind. I know that everyone has agency, but for some people it is more muddled than others, and some extreme mental conditions are unable to be cured. So instead of sympathy, they are regarded as cruel malevolent human beings until it can be proved to the courts that they are truly insane. Then, they go to mental hospitals, where I've heard, that they are treated poorly and rarely helped. I've always held in such contempt those who take life, but this is the only group I hold exempt because some don't even know what they are doing.

I feel bad for stalkers. They are so obsessed & delusional that they don't know the difference between reality & fantasy. Most are not intentionally trying to cause problems for their victims & lots believe that they are helping, saving or protecting their victims from something. Also some are stalkers because they had a relationship with the victim who may of done something to the stalker like used em, tricked em, lied to em ect & the stalker was so hurt that they went crazy. I'm NOT saying that stalkers are not dangerous & don't cause lots of problems for their victims but they are suffering from sever mental problems & need psychiatric help instead of being punished in prison

I feel kind of bad for obscure people who suddenly find themselves by accident in the middle of a 'news' story and getting their '15 minutes of fame' dumped on them unexpectedly, especially when it's something stupid they did that paints them in the worst possible light. They get remembered for something ridiculous and the newspaper or journalist turns them into a caraciture for the sake of the story even if it in no way represents the kind of person they are.

I also feel bad for animals that aren't cute and cuddly, like snakes, rats or spiders, so no one cares if they get killed or suffer like with puppies and seals.

I feel bad for Punk Rockers. They're not bad people. They've lost their way in society and they compensate with spiked coloured hair to make themselves feel better.

As far as I know punks are pretty happy with their choice of dress.

i feel bad for punks, goths and emos too. because people always judge them for their manner of dress. i for one find their garb wonderfully individual and colourful.

I feel bad for people in the proverbial political middle. Their arms keep getting pulled one way or another.

That is true of the homeless. Also tent cities where people pass laws so each tent city keeps getting closed.
