I don't think I was ever imaginative enough to have a friend, but I can remember having an imaginary panda when I was small.

Were your imaginary friends always agreeable with you?

Yes. I had several at the same time. At the peak I had 12 but I've since outgrown them. Sometimes I miss them but I can't get around the fact they aren't real anymore.

I used to play with some animal plushes(mostly crabs, lobsters, and penguins) when I was younger and I'd talk to them as if they were Humans, but I knew they weren't real and I don't consider them imaginary friends.

Lots thought I did because I used to talk to myself a lot but I never had an imaginary friend. I lack the imagination for one. It wouldn't surprise me if I had an imaginary wife in the future like the old guy in the Adam Sandler cartoon movie 8 Crazy Nights but imaginary wife would be based off an idol so I'm not sure if that would count as imaginary per-say

I never had a strong enough imagination to create an imaginary friend.

Have I ever had an imaginary friend?

If that includes imagining that real people are my friends, then the answer is 'Yes'.

Yes! I had an entire imaginary world when I was younger. They were all in imaginary families. I would talk to my imaginary friend at night, haha, it was fun.

I had two imaginary friends, kind of. There was a female, Isabelle and a male who's name often changed. Funny thing is, is that Isabelle and misc. male were the same person just switched gender roles. But same interests/likes/dislikes/etc. I also had an imaginary Golden Retriever for a long time. He went away when we finally got a real dog. He was cool, though.

And to answer a previous poster, my imaginary friends and I used to disagree about some things.

Same for me! I would disagree with my imaginary friends all the time, and we would have dicussions and arguments and the likes!

No, I don't know whether I never felt the need to, or my imagination just couldn't pull of an imaginary friend :?. The most I've done is create two imaginary safe places in my mind to run away to when in bad situations... and the places are friendly in a nice, inviting, and calm sort of way :). I've not been to them in years though :|... maybe I should try going back sometime :chin:

I used to have a one inch ceramic dashound that I caried in my pocket everyehere I went and I believed it to have a personality and a persona. I used to believe that faries were on the roof and would bring me presents if I were good, and they never did so I figured that I was never good. I also told people about pink polka dotted frogs in my yard. All of my imaginary friends were animals or mythilogical beings...never human. I dealt with people enough...I had no interest in them...they were confusing frightning and stupid....still are.
In my art, I never drew people unless I was told to.

Do you guys actually see your imaginary friend? Or just picture them in your head? I've never had an imaginary anything, so I don't know how it works. :P
Sometimes I have conversations with myself, but no imaginary friends.

Same. 8O

I doubt they "see" their imaginary friends... unless they have schizophrenia.
