if I went with them, I could never go back to the earth I left right? if I did go back, all my friends would've been long gone.

Well I would go with the aliens but I would return to earth again :D

And that question reminds me of the movie knowing which was great until there came freaking aliens xD
Me and my friend joked about them being child molesters since they are taking children with them...

Or, I could ask them to land their space ship on Steven Spielberg's roof. It would be worth it just to see how he reacts. Maybe he'd invite us in to watch E.T. or something. I could spend the whole evening talking to him about Indiana Jones and asking about the 5th film :D

I'd go with the aliens, The potential gain in knowledge would make it worth the risk of something bad happening on the homeworld.
I wonder how I got to mars to meet them though.

Depends on what the aliens are like. Do they have art, if so, what kind of art do they have? What is life like on their planet?
If they won't elaborate, I won't go with them. A shame, but I don't want to lose all the interesting music and literature and visual arts...Unless theirs is more to my liking.

I don't see how this is a choice. You have to go, even if they decide to souffle you later.
