It's 82F, fair and windy here in Norfolk, Virginia. It's suppose to get to a high of 84F and we might have isolated thunderstorms later today, from remenents of what's left of tropical storm Lee.

I saw that JM, you're getting it much worse. Stay safe!

It's 86F and mostly cloudy, no thunderstorms where I am, yet.

The UK will probably get remnants of these storms, such as Katia, as well - but here it's nothing more than dull miserable rain showers!

13 (55) currently, and very very wet.

It's raining here today on Labor Day. Did anyone get hit by Hurricane Irene? I'm in Annapolis, MD, and was without power from Saturday night (Hurricane), until Tuesday night. Stayed at my parents. Between that, an earthquake, and an escaped convict (not kidding, on the local news, he overpowered a female guard), it made for a stressful week mentally and I was exhausted. I was more afraid of the hurricane though than the convict, lol, because the convict was in the neighborhood next to me, and the hurricane cut out my power AND my landline.

It has gotten cold, and the entire sky is decidedly purple. Weird.

Sunny, hazy, and very hot

5:02 PM

88 degrees

Because of smoke from wildfires, probability
of haziness will be high for the next few days.

I watched a short video CosmicRuss has of what was left of hurricane Irene over there. Yeah but look how beautiful green it is over there. There are lovely gardens everywhere. I know what you mean though, I lived in the desert and actually got tired of the Sun shining all the time. It gets old.

I'm south of you in Norfolk, Virginia and we were hit too. Here's some photos of damage on this page - http://www.wrongplanet.net/postxf166534-0-525.html We didn't lose electricity in my neighborhood, even after the tree limbs hit the power lines, the lights did blink off and on quite a bit when the hurricane was passing over our area.
