Yeah, health played no part in it. I recently got off a prescription weight loss drug that made me lose 90 lbs, and I'd prefer not to spend the next 23 years as obese as the last.

I agree totally, I would love to have a whole loaf of heels.
They can sometimes be very thin and when toasted imitate melba toast. When the slices are thicker and toasted you can really go to town with the butter or spread as it doesn't run off. :thumright:

I like heels for making french toast especially if they are dry and stale. They absorb the french toast mixture better that way.
