What is the most exciting thing you did today?

Drew a picture of a vampire version of Christopher Walken that looks really freakin awesome. I'm going to post it in a few hours/days when I'm done with it.

What's the weather like today and are you happy with it?

The weather is cloudy with sunny periods and I'm enjoying it.

What is the best movie that you've ever seen?

Amadeus. I know you probably expected me to mention a Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie, but while those movies are my special interest, Amadeus is a masterpiece plain and simple.

49 Up. I found the thing that the documentary subject Neil who's struggled a lot with mental illness in his 49 years says that had me in tears in the movie theater.

"I see that life comes once, and it's quite short. You have to appreciate what's good in it. And if I could just tell a short story: I was just sunbathing and a butterfly landed quite close to me. It had beautiful wings, with deep red colors, and white sort-of circles on them... these creatures don't last very long. But it landed very close to me, it didn't seem frightened. It just seemed delighted opening and closing its wings, and just actually being beautiful for that period of time, enjoying the sunshine. Perhaps there isn't actually any more to life than that, and just being what you are. You must realize that life goes all around, and there are millions of other creatures who must find their parts as well."

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but most of the time mine is much better, so there's is irrelevant.
