Two fence panels blown out, one smashed. It does get very windy along this coast but I've never know it to be this windy before. I can hear the roof slates lifting and banging down again, it is very noisy.
How's everyone else in the UK getting on?

We're getting off light - it has dislodged our dish so that I missed Battlestar Galactica.

They've closed the ferry service here because of the winds, pretty strong, but not consistant, every few minutes you get a huge gust, one almost made me completely lose my balance on the way back from college this morning.

Howly noises. Strong and consitent winds. Struggle to walk around. Wind was against us for the majority of the time.

In Sussex we had gusts upto 58 mph earlier according to Gatwick airport's weather site. Our letter box kept opening and shutting due to it, one side of our trampoline lifted a tiny bit in a gust, went to open my bedroom window but wind opened it for me, walked outside abit but the gusts stopped me, also noticed our lights flickered a few times, probably to do with the power. Sounds nasty how some of you others have had it.

You try being six years old and holding onto loose a screen door in 82.8 MPH winds.
