Is it possible that Robert Downey Junior has aspergers? - he plays very eccentric roles, and looks to be socially awkward,

Anyone else know more about this???

I couldn't personally make a judgment on that, as I have only seen him in really in his acting performances, and as he is a very talented actor i wouldn't take his performances as necessarily reflective of his actual natures. thinking on his rendering of Sherlock holmes, is definitely tending to the savant, but i have also seen him in a wide variety of other roles where he portrays relatively 'normal' characters.

He's been diagnosed as bipolar with a long history of substance abuse. From what I've read Robert is the life of the party, and hardly socially awkward. Happily married now with a kid. And sober.

Hey Rob! Call me! I'll do the friends with benefits anywhere anything. *swoon*

I have no shame when it comes to him or the late Greg Giraldo.

*fans self, off to cold shower...*

No, he can play the roles of the characters he portrays very well. He won't have AS.

I've worked on a movie set once with Downey, and I'd have to say he's not AS. He's a total nervous wreck though. Pacing, chain smoking, and perhaps even was on something. Not sure. One of my special interests is 80s Diesel cars and trucks, and I have my collection registered with an agent for movie prop cars. They used my '84 Corolla Diesel hatchback in the film "Zodiac", and I didn't trust anybody else to drive it, so I did.

It was a docu-drama film about the zodiac killer with Downey and Jake Gyllenhaal. If anything, Gyllenhaal is more likely AS, although I think neither is. He kept looking at the Corolla Diesel (he was fascinated because he had no idea they ever made one), and scratching his head, and later wanted to know it was for sale, but it's not. He asked some definite Aspie questions about that car.

Tom Hanks? Really? :?

On the other hand, Tom Cruise is more likely to have AS than Tom Hanks.

I still can't get the image of Tom Cruise couch-surfing out of my head.
