I was browsing through some Adventure Time fanart, and one artist complained about the fact that the character Susan Strong was blonde-haired and white-skinned like Finn, calling her an "Aryan".

It hurts my feelings when people refer to blonde-haired white people as Aryans because it reminds me of when I got bullied in school for having blonde hair. It also calls to mind the crimes against humanity of my ancestors, most of whom were German and were probably involved in unsavory activities during WWII. I have always felt ashamed of my heritage and I often wish I was born with a different hair color or even a different race.

The usual idiot friends who insist upon criticizing every thing you do or say. It gets obnoxious.

Also, my favorite blog www.1000awesomethings.com posted the last thing today. I've been following that thing for 2.5 out of the 4 years it has been up. I feel so depressed...and tomorrow picnik goes to google +

The IT/admin lady at work quit.

I kinda saw it coming because the partners were supposed to employ a new admin assistant to help her out but it never eventuated (I'm guessing it's because they were too tight ass to add extra payroll expense), so she was left with a lot of extra workload to do herself. As a result she didn't really have time to cross her t's and dot her i's, but she did a good job anyway IMO under the circumstances. Also, some of my coworkers kept going behind her back to other coworkers to do things that she was actually employed to do. Eg. for some stupid reason people go to my old mentor (a CPA) about IT problems, when it was actually the IT lady's job to deal with them. She got sick of being made to feel useless and incompetent I guess.

On Tuesday I inadvertently ended up talking to my old mentor about a tech issue I was having with the accounting software. I called the IT lady first before anything when the tech issue appeared. I thought it was her calling me back with an update and was put on hold, but it turned out to be my old mentor instead who the boss guy had rung about the problem. Turned out that the boss guy from the "Warchoppy" office always rings HER when there's a problem and not the IT lady. We worked out a way to work around the problem ourselves (me and the boss brainstormed) but I didn't tell the IT lady till late yesterday. I feel a bit bad about it and I hope it didn't contribute to her decision to leave . I also don't find it particularly fair that my old mentor has been given even more control of the firm and it's workflow in response. Yeah, guess who's head of IT now? And she's been given the power to delegate all the admin stuff to whomever she likes; I had to learn how to do financial statement data entry today

the poor thing. you tried the best you could. and my avatar is of a woman planting the palestinian flag into soil. i was given a translation of what the writting says but i forgot it. the only part i can read is the bit that says "unfurl a flag." its my avatar because i support the palestinian struggle.

the ceiling is leaking. at first it was a novelty but now it is bulging and the plumer was here yesterday and said he fixed it but i dont think he did. also filling out centrelink sheets today. they rejected them again literally on the same day i handed them in which means they didnt review them. i had to fill in forms with stuff that was personal and i dont get why the first or second time was rejected. pretty sure the stuff i described was illegal.(not on my part)

Centrelink stuff can be tricky, since they go by the book and not necessarily by the circumstances in front of them.

(I have seen kids who were living at home with abusive parents, who told Centrelink and where told to wait for 6 months while they even got around to investigating. Once they started investigating, the abuse just got worse. Eventually they said there was nothing they could do and the kid had to stay, it's a very common story here.)

If you are living at home and under 21, you are likely to get no help from them. If you can provide proof to them that you are not living at home, you might be eligible for rent assistance and Youth Allowance. If you have an official diagnosis of ASD, you may also be eligible for Disability payments, depending on how much it affects your functioning.

I'm glad there's someone else on this site who cares for the Palestinians. There are not many, I can say that for sure.
Plumbers, electricians and mechanics - you just can't trust them unfortunately.

There should be no logical reason for people intentionally to break rules, laws, and policy, especially for, "fun," and yet, they do. Those people may be illogical, but what is worse is that even the proper authorities ignore the offenses. What is wrong with refraining from consumption of illegal substances or following the dress code or refraining from utilizing profanities or maintaining gentleman's honor with ladies or not speaking while others are taking quizzes? Such dishonesty, excess, and perversion shall no longer be tolerated.

My sister wouldn't stop crying last night for no reason, and she won't tell me what's going on. Whenever I ask, she says "LEAVE ME ALONE!! !"

Not sure what I did to make her mad.
