What brings an NT to Wrong Planet?

I assume most of the NT's on this site are here because they have friends or family with Autism/AS, but there could be some other interesting answers as well. NT's, if you don't mind, I'd like to know why you're here, and maybe how you found this site.

I am studying speech and language pathology and that brought me here. A lot of the conversation about ASD revolves around a "cure," but I am interested in learning how I can be a good ally to my clients and help educate the public that not everyone is NT. Thank you to all who contribute to this forum.

Certainly. There are so many ignorant and bigoted media depictions of people on the spectrum, and I don't think most of my fellow NTs even know about the concept of NT.

My guess is that they have friends or family members who are on the spectrum.
